They want to serve and help. The product is something that interests them. For example a person selling encyclopedias maybe happy to have people learning. This is the salespersons passion. It offers great money, but without the interest in the product, you can't serve people effectively. As motivation dwindles, there is no energy to continue.

Now, you don't have to be as passionate about your product as some people are in church. But, you do need to have some interest in that product and helping people. Yes, it needs to be a good product, at a good price, and yes it needs demand. But, when you add some level of passion for what you do, you will find much more success than those who simply run to the highest MLM Network Marketing pay structure.
